Mission and vision
At Ghent Auditory Science Platform (GASP), we aim to unlock the mysteries of hearing, from the cellular level all the way to perception. We combine neurobiology, microdevices, electronics, and AI-driven listening to develop technologies that improve, restore, and personalize human audition. Most importantly, we bring these innovations into real-world clinical practice to benefit society.
We envision a world where hearing loss, tinnitus, and sound sensitivity are understood, measured, and treated with precision.
By bridging fundamental research with cutting-edge technology, we aim to transform hearing healthcare and shape the soundscape of tomorrow.
